Why we started
our dream
When we wanted to have our wedding pre-shoot, we couldn't find a photographer in Hiroshima that matched our taste and style.
We wound up having a photoshoot in another prefecture.
We aren't the only couple that has had to leave the prefecture to find a photographer who matched their style. But why should they have to?
We realized then that we needed to be the ones to bring that Western style and sensibility to the Hiroshima photography landscape.
That's how Ramo Photography was born.
Who we are
About us
We are:
Robert (from Canada) & Yui (from Hiroshima)
We take photos together.
Yui handles the shoot direction and styling,
while Robert handles shooting the day of, editing, and producing the final galleries.
From Robert:
I have always liked taking pictures, but when I came to Japan six years ago, I realized just how fun and fascinating photography is.
I was born and raised in Canada, but when I came to Japan and picked up a camera, I started to want to create memories and tell peoples' stories through the photos I take.
If you're looking through the photos from our shoot together and feel any happiness at all, then I know I've done my job.
From Yui:
Traveling with a camera has long been one of my favorite hobbies. I've had so much fun taking photos in countries all over Asia and North America.
Now photography is my job, and I couldn't be happier!
I am thankful every day to be able to share so many moments of happiness together with couples "I wish I could shoot like this in Hiroshima".The couple will design stylish and fun pre-shoots while drawing out the atmosphere and favorite things of each couple.
It will definitely be a fun pre-shoot, so please leave everything to me!
